2 sleeps till xmas

Whoop, nearly xmas. Lots of pressies piled under the tree, in fact, I think we need a bigger tree.
Sewed on one of the sleeves to my cardigan the other evening, but sewed it into the wrong armhole - doh!
Spent this evening cooking up chinese herbs prescribed by my acupuncturist. They looked like the sweepings from a woodland glade, and tasted absolutely horrific! They better flipping work!
Anyway, merry xmas if there's no more bloggage before then.

Not much knitting this week, not much of anything except work and sleep! Today was the shop's busiest day so far, it went by so quickly that it really did seem to pass in the blink of an eye. I've got tomorrow off (yippee), hope that doesn't disappear as quickly. I've got tomorrow, then wednesday off, then my next day off is christmas day! Aaargh. Think I might just sleep through this christmas. Have more time off at new year, so maybe I'll be a bit more celebratory by then.

Plan for today

Going to see my acupuncturist this morning. Hope it starts to work soon, sometimes i think there's a difference and other times its "I'm paying loads of money for this and I still feel like crap!" It could be because I'm attempting to change my diet too, No more wheat and dairy, although wheat seems to sneak into everything and also upping my friut and veg intake which I admit I'm rubbish at.
Then going off to see my Mum, and hopefully fitting in some xmassy stuff. Unfortunately all the people I have left to buy for are the ones I have no ideas for! Damn it, next year I'll start my xmas shopping in august, then I get to spend December being smug instead of being in a blind panic.
Then if Anthony's invited everyone over for roleplaying I shall depart into the other room with some good tunes, and get cracking on with that sleeve!

Well, i was going to do some more to my sleeve, but i got a bit distracted pootling around ravely and trying to this blog to my ravely page. What the heck is an rss feed? I dont understand. Anyway, my right sleeve calls as does a nice cup of tea. And i get a lie in tomorrow too, yippee.

Sooooo, here i am trying to do a proper blog. It's only cause I'm on ravelry and everyone else seems to be doing it! Hopefully I'll be more faithful to this blog, and remember to update more than my myspace one!
Anyway, this is where i get to waffle on about knitting and that.
I'm currently making the lil red riding hoodie from domiknitrix, I've done the body, one sleeve and part of the next. Am I the only one who feels bewildered by the instruction "reverse shaping"? It seems to tie my brain in knots! Writing about my hoody is making me want to go and knit some more of it so off I go.
